This day features discussions on how to prepare a Regional Center application to investor & securities related issues related to the solicitation and distribution of the offering to the investors. The Keynote speaker is Leon Fresco, Staff Director for Senator Charles Schumer who heads the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security and who will be on hand to discuss the status of the EB-5 Program Extension as well as give the audience an update on other related immigration topics of concern to the across industries.
The day continues with discussions and presentations by a number of legal and securities professionals who will outline best practices regarding both filing for a Regional Center designation as well as marketing and raising funds for the project developer and issuers of Reg D and S private placement offerings. There will also be plenty of advice for immigration law practitioners on issues concerning giving your clients advice on which projects to select as well as dealing with source of funds and USCIS guidelines.
These panels feature discussions from a number of startup and venture capital firms who will be discussing raising funds and the platforms that the markets will use to distribute these private placement offerings.
