Mr. Hirson is the Past Chair of the State Bar of California, International Law Section and also chaired the State Bar of California, International Law Section, Immigration Law sub-committee. He has been the Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Investor Visa Committee. He was the 1992-1993 Vice-Chair of the INS Headquarters Liaison Committee in Washington DC, on behalf of the National Office of AILA, and re-appointed for 1995-1997. From 1989-1992, he was the Co-Chair of the Liaison Committee to the Western Region of the INS (now USCIS) on behalf of AILA. For 1989-1990, Mr. Hirson was the Chapter Chair of the Southern California Chapter of AILA; 1988-1989 Vice-Chair. He was the 1987 Chairman of the Orange County Bar Association's Immigration Law Section, of which he is still a member. Mr. Hirson is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Immigration Law Section. Mr. Hirson is certified as a Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Recognized by numerous organizations including the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers, the Southern California Super Lawyers and he is Martindale Hubbell A.V Rated. 2008 - recognized as one of the Top 50 Attorneys in Orange County, CA. Mr. Hirson was the founder and Co-Managing Partner of the national immigration law firm HirsonWexlerPerl for almost 25 years prior to the firm's merger with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP in 2004. He was also the founder and Director of GVS Global Visa Solutions, LLC, prior to its merger with Fragomen Global Immigration Services, LLC in 2004.
