Maria I. (Marisa) Casablanca has practiced Immigration and Nationality law for over twenty years, representing corporate clients and individuals. She practices all areas of immigration from business and family related visas and residency for the foreign national to asylum seekers. She represents clients in Immigration Court and in Federal Courts in writs of mandamus and habeas corpus before the Southern District of Florida, appeals before the Court of Appeals and writs of certiorari before the U. S. Supreme Court. She advises employers on compliance procedures. She co-authored Immigration Law for Paralegals. She has served on various AILA liaison committees, mostly on the Department of State Committee.
