DHS/USCIS "Executive Intent"

Today, Jan. 6, 2012, DHS sent a "Notice of Intent" to the Federal Register and it is scheduled for publication on Monday Jan. 9, 2012. This is an important step in the evolution of the way DHS and USCIS do business. This particular Notice relates to the I-601 waiver for unlawful presence for immediate relatives (IRs) of a USC.  There are further implications for ALL benefits under the INA and this is especially true for EB-5 which is undergoing a thorough re-imagining at the present time. These are steps in the right direction.
