The Association to Invest in the USA (IIUSA) began 2015 by relocating to Washington, DC. In the wake of the burgeoning demand by potential immigrants for EB-5 investment visas, the move is almost a necessity.
In order to adequately represent its Regional Center membership, IIUSA, like many other not-for-profit trade associations, has determined that it is in the best interest of those members and their clients to establish a presence near the seat of government to better represent those interests.
IIUSA executive director, Peter Joseph, noted that “Just like the EB-5 Regional Center Program has done in the last five years, IIUSA has reached new heights reflecting the growth and institutionalization of our industry. Given the program's symbiotic relationship with the federal government, IIUSA has long collaborated with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), among other agencies, to formulate policies to improve the EB-5 Program and bring jobs to communities around the country at no cost to taxpayers.”
